The Milky Way wishes you fantastic holidays with all the lifts open and snowy ski runs!
Loads of fresh snow has fallen to celebrate fantastic holidays on the Milky Way pistes.
There have been several heavy snowfalls on the Olympic mountains, just in time for the Christmas holidays. The Milky Way ski area is therefore perfectly coverei in snow, with all resorts open for skiing and all lifts working.
You mustn’t miss the descent in the Vallone del Rio Nero! On Saturday 19th December new lifts built over the summer were inaugurated to improve ease of skiing and connections between the various resorts within the area. The new Colò two-seater chairlift now takes you from the bottom of the Vallone straight to the top at Fraiteve, and the Chamonier chairlift provides a link with the Sauze d’Oulx ski area.
