Do you want to spend a day on the snow, departing in the morning and returning home in the evening? Now there is a very good alternative to the car.
The ViaLattea Express line has been activated for the 2016/2017 ski season, connecting the center of Torino to the famous ski station. It operates on Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays but for Christmas, Carnival and Easter, the line will be car ried out on a daily basis.
There are different offer packages:
€ 47,50 daily skipass + insurance “snow protection” + bus tickets
€ 15,00 bus ticket, special price for owners of ViaLattea Skicard season’s ticket
€ 18,00 bus ticket only
The bus departs from Torino Porta Susa (corso Bolzano sq. via Grattoni – Autostazione Corso Bolzano) at 07.30 am, the first stop is in Cesana Torinese (piazzale Telecabina), and the arrival is at 09.15 am in Sestriere (piazzale Telecabina); on the evening, the departure from Sestriere is scheduled for 17.00 pm, with arrival in Torino around 18.45 pm.
The service is the result of the collaboration between the Local Public Transport company Sadem S.p.A. and Sestriere S.p.A. who manages the “ViaLattea” ski district; tickets can be bought online on the website www.sadem.it or at the Torino Sadem ticket selling shop (corso Bolzano sq. via Grattoni – Autostazione Corso Bolzano)
The Vialattea ski pass is delivered while boarding the bus. Each passenger is allowed to carry one hand luggage and one pair of skis or snowboard free of charge.
