The Ski Show Sauze d’Oulx returns on the slopes of the Vialattea. A special evening on Saturday 7 February from 9:00 pm in the finish area of the Campetto Clotes slopes. It will be an opportunity to enjoy a full day of skiing on the Vialattea slopes and, in the evening, celebrate three historic anniversaries: 120 years of Sauze d’Oulx as a tourist resort, the 50th anniversary of Piero Gros’s gold medal in special slalom at the Innsbruck Olympics, and 20 years since the Turin 2006 Winter Olympics.
The two iconic ski areas of the Turin Alps, Vialattea and Bardonecchia, are getting closer than ever and have launched a new initiative designed to offer skiers an even broader and more integrated experience. This initiative allows you to ski in both resorts under special conditions. By purchasing a daily ski pass called Vialattea x Bardo with an open date on vialattea.it, you can get a 50% discount on your next daily ski pass valid in Bardonecchia.
On 24 and 25 January in Sestriere, on the slopes of the Vialattea ski area, the second edition of the gathering of the “Sciatori d’epoca” Association will take place. This year’s event is dedicated to the celebration of the 50th anniversary of Claudia Giordani’s silver medal in Slalom at the 1976 Innsbruck Winter Olympics. The programme includes, on Saturday 24 in the morning, a group ski session with vintage equipment on the Vialattea slopes. On Sunday 25 January, starting at 10:30 a.m. in Sestriere, a Giant Slalom race/exhibition will be held with vintage skis, boots and clothing.
