In the Vialattea Ski Area it is snowing and, thanks to the drop in temperatures, snowmaking operations are underway. Avalanche control activities are also being carried out, weather and visibility permitting, as these are essential to ensure maximum safety on the slopes.
Meanwhile, the opening of the Sansicario–Sestriere/Sauze d’Oulx link and the Chisonetto–Banchetta, Lago Nero and Clotes chairlifts is confirmed from Friday 26 December. The Clotes chairlift will, for the time being, operate with uphill and downhill service for pedestrians. From Saturday 27 December, the opening of the Orsiera ski lift is also confirmed.
