Vialattea joins the Municipality of Sestriere for a special evening during the first edition of the Sestriere Sport Awards Film Festival, scheduled from July 21 to 26 at the Fraiteve Cinema.
On Friday, July 25 at 5:30 PM, at Casa Olimpia, the audience will get an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at what goes into organizing a FIS Alpine Ski World Cup event—from the submission of the candidacy, to slope preparation, to the arrival of teams and athletes from various national squads, the set-up of technical media structures required by the FIS, all the way to the welcoming and entertainment of the public, before, during, and after the races.
It’s a massive organizational effort led by Massimo Bonetti, General Director of the Sestriere Alpine Ski World Cup Organizing Committee, who will guide the audience behind the scenes of an event that the Vialattea slopes and the Municipality of Sestriere have proudly hosted multiple times since 1967.
The latest edition, a three-day Women’s Alpine Ski World Cup event held on February 21–22–23, rewarded the team’s dedication with a large crowd, who witnessed the amazing Giant Slalom double win by Federica Brignone and the 100th career victory of snow queen Mikaela Shiffrin, the dominant winner of the Slalom event.
As with all events in the Sestriere Sport Awards Film Festival, admission to the cinema and Talks at Casa Olimpia is free of charge.
We look forward to seeing you there to relive the most exciting moments of the great White Circus celebration in Sestriere!
