A WEEK OF CARNIVAL BETWEEN SKIING AND COSTUME EVENTS

13 February 2026

Snow and confetti set the scene for Carnival week, with costumed skiing on the slopes of the Via Lattea and events dedicated to lightheartedness and fun. In Sauze d’Oulx, the Carnival Parade returns, meeting at Campetto Clotes on Saturday 14 February at 5:30 pm. As every year, the lively event brings music, colours, entertainment and lots of fun. Everyone is welcome – especially in costume.

Also on Saturday 14 February, in Claviere, at 5:00 pm in Piazza della Chiesa, the Children’s Carnival takes place, with games, activities for the little ones and plenty of music. In Sestriere, on Monday 16 February from 2:30 pm on the Standard slope, the traditional Fancy Dress Ski Race returns, organised by the Sci Club Sestriere in collaboration with the Municipality, the Consorzio Turismo Sestriere and the Pro Loco Sestriere. At 5:00 pm the celebrations continue in the Cit Roc chairlift departure area with the arrival of a sleigh pulled by Siberian huskies from the Centro Sleddog Sestriere, accompanied by the distribution of sweets by the Pro Loco Sestriere.

Finally, on Monday 16 February in Cesana Torinese, a new discipline makes its debut: the “Three Ski” fancy dress race. At 3:00 pm in Piazza Vittorio Amedeo, a crazy challenge organised by the Pro Young Pro Loco di Cesana will see costumed teams of three wearing a single pair of skis as they race along Via Roma.

Plenty of events to experience the mountains in an original and festive way, with sport, music and fun for all ages.
