A dusting of autumn snow in the Vialattea, following a brief weather front that passed through the area. On Tuesday, 21 October, the ski resort woke up to temperatures around zero and snow-covered peaks.
From Sestriere to Sauze d’Oulx and Sansicario, passing over Monte Fraiteve, and then through Colle Bercia, Cesana and Claviere, the slopes of the Vialattea looked like this — as captured by the high-altitude webcams.
The lowest temperature recorded overnight was -2°C at 2,700 metres, at the top station of the Fraiteve cable car.
