SATURDAY 7 FEBRUARY: NIGHT SKI SHOW AT CAMPETTO CLOTES

04 February 2026

The Ski Show Sauze d’Oulx returns to the Vialattea slopes. A special evening on Saturday 7 February from 9:00 pm, in the finish area of the Campetto Clotes slopes, in the heart of the Alta Valle di Susa tourist resort.

It will be an opportunity to enjoy a full day of skiing on the perfectly snow-covered Vialattea slopes and, in the evening, celebrate three historic anniversaries: 120 years of Sauze d’Oulx as a tourist resort, 50 years since Piero Gros’s gold medal in special slalom at the Innsbruck Olympics, and 20 years since the Turin 2006 Winter Olympics.

A show that starts from the origins of skiing, with a sequence of descents recalling the evolution of the discipline: from a couple dressed in period costumes, through telemark skiing and ski ballet, up to the present day with spectacular choreographies performed by instructors, coaches, champions and athletes from Sauze d’Oulx.
The programme will also feature jumps and tricks, snowboard performances and a ski mountaineering demonstration.
The grand finale will see LED torches carried by children, guided by Giuliano Vitton, the first National Instructor of Sauze d’Oulx, followed by Italian tricolour torches carried by instructors from all ski schools, closing the parade.
The evening will end with the distribution of hot drinks by the Sauze d’Oulx Public Assistance, while the show will be accompanied by lights and music to make the night even more thrilling. The speaker will host the event in both Italian and English, ensuring full audience involvement.

The Mayor of Sauze d’Oulx, Mauro Meneguzzi, invites everyone to the celebration:
“For Sauze, the Ski Show at Clotes will be an important event, a way to celebrate together our great ski resort and all those who make it special. As the Municipal Administration, we thank everyone involved in organising the event and all those who will take part. We invite all snow lovers to come and celebrate with us.”

Luisella Bourlot, CEO of Sestrieres Spa, highlights the historical and symbolic value of the event:
“Initiatives like the Ski Show allow us to remember and share moments of great prestige from our past, which have helped shape the identity of Vialattea and the entire area. The 50th anniversary of Piero Gros’s Olympic gold medal fills us with pride and reminds us that many great champions have grown up on our slopes. Likewise, the 20th anniversary of the Turin 2006 Olympics strengthens the Olympic legacy and confirms Vialattea’s role as an international reference destination.”

Serenella Marcuzzo, President of the Fortur Tourism Consortium, presents the event:
“For Sauze d’Oulx, 2026 is a year of major historical anniversaries. At the beginning of the year we celebrated 120 years since Sauze d’Oulx was officially recognised as a tourist resort and hosted the descents of the pioneers of skiing. On 14 February 1976, Piero Gros won the Olympic gold medal in Innsbruck, marking its 50th anniversary, and 20 years ago, in 2006, Sauze d’Oulx hosted the Olympic Winter Games of the Olympic Mountains. Three milestones that shaped our history and that we want to celebrate with a great ski festival, just like in the past. Thanks to the collaboration with Sestrieres Spa and the participation of Ski Clubs and Ski Schools, we have prepared a great evening: the Ski Show at Campetto Clotes. There will be many surprises, with lights, music and a great desire to celebrate together our historic anniversaries.”

The event is organised by the Fortur Tourism Consortium, together with the Municipality of Sauze d’Oulx, and in collaboration with the Unione Montana Comuni Olimpici Via Lattea, the Tourist Office, Sestrieres Spa, and the Ski Schools and Ski Clubs of Sauze d’Oulx.
