Together for More Sustainable Mobility, with Up to 25% Off Ski Passes for Train Travellers
Trenitalia (FS Group) and Vialattea renew their partnership, reaffirming their shared commitment to sustainable mobility and to delivering a premium ski experience. The agreement fully reflects Vialattea’s long-standing dedication to environmental protection and the promotion of responsible mountain tourism.
Vialattea is an ideal destination for those travelling by train, with Oulx railway station serving as the main gateway to the ski area. Located on the line connecting Turin with France, the station provides quick and easy access to the resorts of Sauze d’Oulx, Sestriere, Cesana and Claviere via the road network, also thanks to the Vialattea Link service.
A key new feature of the 2025/26 ski season is the extension of the commercial agreement to Bardonecchia, which is also easily accessible with Trenitalia. This further enhances the region’s tourism offering. In this case, Bardonecchia railway station serves as the reference point, continuing from Oulx along the same rail line.
Trenitalia is therefore confirmed as the Official Green Carrier of both Vialattea and the Bardonecchia ski area, providing comfortable and efficient travel solutions through numerous daily connections that represent a major asset for the region. The shared objective is to encourage greater awareness of the importance of choosing low-impact transport to reach ski resorts, while also offering attractive benefits to travellers when purchasing ski passes valid in Vialattea and Bardonecchia.
Discounts ranging from 20% to 25% on selected ski passes — including 1-day, 2-day and 6-day passes — are available to X-GO and CartaFRECCIA customers travelling with Trenitalia to Oulx or Bardonecchia.
Vialattea Link: From the Station Straight to the Slopes
From Oulx railway station, travellers can also take advantage of the Vialattea Link, a dedicated bus service connecting the station directly to the main ski resorts. The slopes of Sauze d’Oulx can be reached in just a few minutes, while the other resorts within the ski area are only a short additional journey away.
The integrated train + bus system offers convenient and seamless access to the ski slopes, with tickets available in a single purchase by selecting the final destination.
