Skiing with champions in Sestriere

10 February 2023

National teams in training

The slopes of Vialattea are in top condition and ready to welcome the alpine ski champions who need to perfect their preparation for the upcoming World Alpine Ski Championships being held in France.

The national men’s and women’s alpine ski team has chosen the Kandahar Giovanni Alberto Agnelli slope in Sestriere, which hosted the last two World Cup races in early December, for a training session that will affect some athletes in the technical disciplines. Thanks to particularly cold temperatures, the course has been wet and worked on in recent days to create ideal conditions for training.

Some athletes from the German and Spanish national team will join the Azzurri on the track.

The training program is very intense and articulated. The first athletes have already taken to the track, other athletes will arrive in the coming days and will alternate divided into various working groups. The session will end on Thursday, February 16.

Do not miss the opportunity to ski on the slopes of Vialattea and admire our champions in action!
