After the Grand Depart from Italy, from Florence, the Tour de France will return to France on Tuesday, July 2, with the first Alpine stage. On the program is the Pinerolo-Valloire, a 139.6km stage with an elevation gain of 3,600 meters that will cross the Olympic mountains of the Vialattea.
Once departing from Pinerolo (h. 13.15), the cyclists will cycle along the roads that connect Pragelato (h.14.18), Sestriere (h. 14.33), Cesana Torinese (h.14.46), Claviere (h.14.58) then entering French territory from Montgenèvre (h. 15.02), i.e., the resorts that, together with Oulx and Sauze d’Oulx, are part of the Vialattea district.
It is going to be a beautiful day full of sports to see in live action, on our beloved mountains, the great champions of cycling and the most important teams of the World Tour circuit. Do not miss the spectacle of the colorful promotional convoy of the Tour de France that will anticipate, about 2 hours, the passage of the riders in the various locations of the Vialattea.
