On Saturday 17 August, Sestriere will host Slurp! And Walk, a suggestive food and wine walk organised by Slurp! X. Participants will start the day with an aperitif and a tasting of appetisers along the picturesque Sentiero del Senatore (Senator’s Path), which winds along the slopes of Mount Alpette. Afterwards, they will board the Fraiteve cable car for an exciting transfer to the opposite side of the mountain, where the high-altitude hiking-culinary experience will continue. The cable car will stop at the intermediate station, from where participants will continue on foot towards Sansicario, making further stops to discover the flavours of typical local products and traditional dishes, prepared in the traditional way!
