The three-day promotion of the Region of Liguria in Sestriere has come to an end. A promotion, #Pesto Masterpiece of Liguria, which, after debuting in London, targeted tourists who love the mountains, especially skiing. A three-day event and entertainment for young and old in Fraiteve square in Sestriere in the shadow of the giant pesto mortar made as an icon of the promotional campaign.
Attending the event was Liguria Regional President Giovanni Toti, who was able to admire Sestriere and the Vialattea seen from above during a lunch at a mountain hut before leaving for the seaside. “We are happy that in these three days,” explained Liguria Regional President Giovanni Toti, “so many skiers and tourists appreciated our excellence, starting with pesto, one of the symbols of our territory. We thank Sestriere, the Municipality, the Sestriere Tourism Consortium and the Vialattea for their hospitality and for allowing us to promote in one of the most renowned ski resorts our beautiful Liguria.”
