At altitude with lift facilities among nature, sport and unique views
Vialattea confirms itself as an ideal destination also during the summer season, offering the opportunity to experience the mountains at high altitude among nature, relaxation and outdoor activities. Some lift facilities will be in operation, allowing hikers, bikers and outdoor enthusiasts to easily reach panoramic viewpoints of extraordinary beauty and access numerous routes immersed in the greenery and tranquillity of the alpine environment.
Compared to last season, the summer offering has been further enhanced, with an increase in opening days and a continuous period of over two months of operation for the Sportinia chairlift in Sauze d’Oulx. In Sestriere as well, after last summer’s closure, the Sestriere-Fraiteve gondola lift will reopen, following the completion of the final major maintenance works scheduled by July.
The summer opening project is shared with the Municipalities of Sestriere and Sauze d’Oulx, their respective Tourist Consortia and Turismo Torino e Provincia, with the aim of promoting the area and expanding the destination’s tourism offer. High-altitude routes are prepared by the respective municipalities.
Vialattea offers a tourism product designed to meet the needs of different types of visitors: the lifts provide privileged access to routes of varying difficulty, ideal both for downhill enthusiasts seeking adrenaline-filled trails and for those who prefer more relaxed excursions, as well as for visitors who simply wish to enjoy the high-altitude scenery. The experience is enriched by additional activities available in the area, including golf, with the 18 holes of the Circolo Golf Sestrieres helping to make the destination appealing to an even wider audience.
Details of lift openings and operating periods are as follows:
- Sportinia chairlift in Sauze d’Oulx – from 27 June to 30 August
- Rocce Nere chairlift in Sauze d’Oulx – from 1 to 23 August
- Sestriere-Fraiteve gondola in Sestriere – from 25 July to 23 August
- Nube d’Argento chairlift in Sestriere – from 1 to 23 August
The lifts will be open daily during the specified periods with continuous hours from 9:30 am to 5:00 pm.

*BABY (born in 2018 or later): For Baby Summer Tickets, an ID document proving age is required, along with the signature of a responsible adult guaranteeing the child is accompanied (self-certifications are not accepted).
All 2026 prices remain unchanged for the second consecutive season. The discount for 2025/26 season ski pass holders has also been confirmed, allowing them to benefit from a 50% reduction on the purchase of the VIALATTEA // BARDO SUMMER PASS.
Finally, Vialattea Ski Card holders purchasing online will benefit from dedicated discounts on selected Summer Ticket types.
